About the Conference

asiapac Communication Excellence in IABC Asia Pacific

Eight countries, PR and communication professionals from IABC Chapters in Asia Pacific -- Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the United States - and members from Singapore and Japan gathered last March 3 - 5, 2008 in Manila and Boracay.

The formal opening at the Hyatt Hotel in Ermita, Manila was highlighted by the CEO EXCEL Awards. The following day, we move on to Boracay Regency hotel in the world-famous island resort in Central Philippines.

Blockbuster speakers. Rousing plenary and workshop sessions. Lively entertainers to spice up every venue. We capped the conference with "Sing Young!" a music-with-a-message contest among Filipino and Asian performers.

IABC officials from San Francisco CA will gave pointers on how to develop the chapters and grow professionally. At a very reasonable fee of P 18,000 (Philippine delegates) or US$ 1,350 (regional delegates) the package included conference fee, air fare, transfers, most meals, and Boracay hotel for two nights and three days.

It was truly the most exciting & innovative IABC regional event of the year, and we are looking forward to another topper!
