Corporate packages offer 5-10% membership dues discounts to qualifying groups. A corporate package is a group of five or more individual members:
- Who are from the same company (but can be from assorted geographic areas around the world)
- Who have the same expiration date and renew as a group once a year
- Who pay with one check or one credit card number
- Have one contact person that coordinates with IABC and is the liaison between group members and IABC.
To begin the corporate package process, e-mail info@iabc.com.ph for a price quote. Please include the following information in your message:
- The name of each person who will be part of the package (member ID is helpful,as well, for current or lapsed members)
- The location of each person (city, state or province, country). The location is required because chapter and district dues vary around the world.
Your price quote will prorate the time left on any current memberships; this ensures that your group doesn’t pay twice for portions of any active memberships. A price quote takes about 72 hours to complete from the time the names and locations of each person in the group are received.Once your company pays the amount on the price quote, IABC will process each person in the group as a corporate member and they will be entitled to the additional corporate package benefits. However, after payment is received, no one can be added to the group until the following year, when the package comes up for renewal. The only possible change is a transfer, according to the policy of membership transfer details (see below).
Membership can be transferred within a company to a new person who replaced the position of the original member. However, the following criteria must be met:
- The original member must have at least three months left on the membership and the membership is a professional membership, not a 500 Club, student, retired, or other type of lifetime membership.
- The original member is no longer with the company.
- The employer sends a request to transfer the membership on company letterhead, which may be faxed or mailed to IABC Philippines headquarters. Please include current information of the new member: name, title, phone and fax number, e-mail, and mailing address and the name and member ID of the original member.
